#1 Introduce Yourself
We want to know you, welcome you and help you find your place at OneTribe. Visitors and newcomers can complete a Connection Card on a Sunday or connect with us online, allowing our team to follow up and help you take your next step.
#2 Newcomers Luncheon
Our Newcomers Luncheon is an opportunity for those who are new to OneTribe to meet some of our leaders and church family, hear more about who we are and begin building relationships. It is a relaxed space to ask questions and explore what it means to make OneTribe your church home.
#3 Pamoja
Pamoja is our introduction to the OneTribe family. Through the course we explain what OneTribe is about, we share our story, vision, mission, values and beliefs, helping people understand who we are and what it means to be part of OneTribe.
#4 Membership
For those who would like to become part of OneTribe as members, the next step is an opportunity to meet with our Elders. These conversations allow us to get to know one another, talk about faith and membership, and answer any questions. Those who choose to proceed are welcomed into membership and prayed in as part of the OneTribe family.
Find Community
LifeGroups
LifeGroups are smaller communities where we do life together beyond Sunday. We study God’s Word, pray, worship, encourage one another, share life and serve together while building meaningful relationships.
HerTribe
HerTribe events provide a space for women at OneTribe to connect, build friendships, encourage one another and grow together in faith. We focus on women’s physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. It creates opportunities for women from different seasons and backgrounds to share life and walk alongside one another.
Tribesmen
Tribesmen events provide a space for men at OneTribe to connect, build authentic friendships and encourage one another in their faith and everyday lives. It is an opportunity for men to share life, grow together spiritually, build connections, and encourage one another in their walk with God.
DeafTribe
DeafTribe is our Deaf community at OneTribe, reflecting our commitment to being an inclusive church where everyone can fully participate in the life of the church. Through Kenyan Sign Language interpretation, fellowship, discipleship and community, we seek to ensure that Deaf people are seen, valued, welcomed and fully included in the OneTribe family. Our 11am Sunday service offers interpretation each week.
Serve on Teams
Serving on volunteer teams at church allows us to use our gifts and talents to support others and contribute to the church community. It also helps us grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and make a positive difference.
Welcome Team
The Welcome Team helps extend the Father’s welcome every Sunday, making OneTribe a place where people feel seen, valued and at home from the moment they arrive.
Through greeting, ushering, helping newcomers find their way and supporting the flow of the service, the team creates space for everyone to encounter the warmth, love and belonging of God’s family.
1TKids Team
The Kids Ministry is one of the most energetic, joyful and beautiful places to serve at OneTribe.
The team creates safe, welcoming and engaging spaces where children can learn about God, build friendships and grow in their faith. From teaching at Kids Church on Sundays to facilitating other kids’ activities and events, the team gets to help our children discover what it means to be part of God’s family.
Worship Team
The Worship Team helps lead our church in worship during our Sunday gatherings, using their gifts to create space for people to encounter God and respond to Him.
More than music, worship is a posture of the heart — and the team serves by helping the whole OneTribe family turn their hearts towards Jesus, together.
Prayer Team
Prayer is at the heart of our life with Jesus. Our Prayer Team helps cultivate a culture of prayer at OneTribe through regular intercessory prayer, standing in the gap for our church, our community and the needs around us.
Every Sunday, the team gathers to pray for our services and the people who will walk through our doors, and they are available after the service to pray with and support anyone who would like someone to stand with them in prayer.
Media Team
The Media Team supports the technical and visual aspects of our Sunday gatherings and church events.
This includes operating and supporting audio-visual equipment and helping ensure that our services and events run smoothly.
Sound team
The Sound Team helps create an environment where everyone can hear, engage and worship together.
They serve behind the scenes during our Sunday gatherings and other events, managing the sound and technical equipment and helping ensure everything runs smoothly.
Evangelism Team
The Evangelism Team is for those passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus and reaching people who do not yet know Him.
The team creates opportunities for outreach, prayer, sharing the gospel and helping people take steps towards faith.
Set-Up & Tear-Down Team
The Set-Up & Tear-Down Team helps prepare OneTribe’s space before our Sunday gatherings and other events, and restores it afterwards.
From setting up chairs and equipment to packing everything away, they make sure our spaces are ready to welcome people and that we leave them well cared for.
